Arizona THP Golf League

I agree with everyone above

AITA? - lol

So my wife will be out of town from 2/3 to 2/17. She will be flying in on 2/17 and I will pick her up. Is this where I should pull out of 2/20 event since she will have exposure to a lot of people then potentially expose me. Just want to get your thoughts on this.

Just don't be a b*&^% and walk the course - then you won't have to worry about it. :ROFLMAO:

Any other sign ups for Az national?

To give an update on the Club's home course recent recognitions in 2020 (and to brag a little):

Sewailo ranks

Golf Advisor - #6 in the Top 25 College Courses in the U.S.
Golf Week - #14 in the Best Courses You Can Play in Arizona
Golf Week - #25 in the Top Casino Courses in the U.S.

THis thread is for the the "AZ THP" league? We're just a group of THPers that decided that we all want to play a lot of golf with each other and tour the fine courses of Arizona. later this year....travel to TX to take on some other THPers in a weekend of fun. Other than we all spend time here and out members are Albatros members, we are not "sanctioned" by THP, for lack of a better term.

As for the Hackers Paradise...this page has some of the history. https://www.thehackersparadise.com/1-about-us/

@JB is always lurking and yes IMO it offers a lot more than just the forum.

OK Sorry for the fake posts.....this is for real. I messed up on original, I removed @Roadrunner and @azrsx

Thanks

Sean

Going to be difficult here - can you put us Phoenix guys at the last tee time.....that 30 minutes helps on that 2hr drive.

Yes I can accommodate that

The team trophy order went in today so those will be ready in plenty of time for June's event.

@MSH134 you ready for this? I cannot wait for you to consistently play with us!

I agree with so much of this....what do you guys think?

I agree with so much of this....what do you guys think?

Honestly, many of them are outside my price range and I try to stick to $100 or under during winter and play these when they are much lower. There are some that I haven’t played that now I really, really want to play (I’m looking at you, Wickenberg and Camelback). There are some that I would say are “must play” and I would recommend to a visitor to save their money up and splurge (Troon/Grayhawk/Wekopa).

There are other that I agree are good, not great, and I would leave disappointed if I paid $150-200. I don’t think TPC Stadium is usually $400+ and requiring caddies and think it is just because of the week before the Open. The best part of playing that course a few times is then watching it every year on TV. I don’t think Talking Stick is as bad as people say, but agree, that they are not great and overcharge.

Papago is a great layout and I would love for the league to play that traditional PHX course that has been revamped to its former glory.

Agreed on all parts.

I tried to get Papago on our schedule. They wanted 25% up front.

I was certain I was going to make Verrado, and then my backup coworker left to take a travel assignment. I would really love to make AZ natl, but it’s a long shot. If there’s a slot available and I can make it I’ll let @tucsoncacti know. I’m really hoping to make GCU 3/20...
