Well, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one seeing it! It's hard to stay in a round when there isn't a lot to be positive about. It is a fantastic club, but I just wonder if there are compatibility issues with my swing.Ive seen the same thing. In my simulator numbers there is no comparison the Hogan should be my driver. Avg drive is over 10 yards farther and on my best balls the Hogan was 24 yards longer vs the best strike with my m5... But like you mentioned its not too forgiving. The hogan on course for me is very strange. In the same round Ill have 2-3 of my best drives all year, then 2-3 drives completely unplayable. My miss is that high toe and for this club its very punishing
I think what I need to do is stop playing the m5 and commit to the Hogan so its not always in my mind. Any time I hit a bad drive with the Hogan I immediately think I should play the m5 since I still take it with me. For the rest of the month ill leave it at home and hopefully that erases any uncertainty b/c the Hogan is capable of so much!
