I had something similar at Top Golf a while back, actually quite tasty

Absolutely! A burger joint around here has deep fried mac n cheese buns... I'll probably end up in the cath lab, but it tastes great!

I'd give it a go. I'm actually thinking my favorite burger place here (actually both of them) have fried mac N cheese wedges, so I could make my own...
