Bond 24 - SPECTRE - 007 is Back!

Goldeneye was also probably my favorite of the Brosnan films, but also really enjoyed Die Another Day. Maybe I am just not that critical when it comes to Bond movies.

Goldeneye was first in Brosnans series. It all went downhill from there. Especially the world is not enough. Ugh what a dog. And Denise Richards as a Bond girl hahahaha

Hoping spectre can beat that!

Saw this on Friday night. Pretty solid again. I've been a fan of Craig as Bond. I think if this truly was his last film then they closed it out nicely.

I have also enjoyed Craig's run as bond. The only negative is all the movies in his series have seemed so dark. I get that is the angle they are trying to portray, but it's just different. Still really looking forward to this.

No my favorite Bond Movie. A bit slow in parts and anticlimactic at the end.

I think I'll put it second behind CR for the Bond flicks. It was going to be near impossible to beat Casino Royale for me (especially since it's my favorite Bond film of them all), but it was a pretty good film to me.

I agree CR was a great movie. Lots of action and great story. Solace was pretty awful (likely due to poor story line IMO). Skyfall wasn't bad. I liked certain parts others not so much. This is the first bond movie I've seen coming into it with preconceived notions. It'll be interesting. Hope to post my thoughts tonight.

I'll be disappointed if the bad guy doesn't use his voice from Django.

We went to see this last night. The first 5 minutes with the BK105 doing barrel rolls and aerobatic flying were the highlight for me. The rest of it was a bit take it or leave it. Once the lights came up my wife said it wasn't as good as Skyfall and I agree 100%. Interesting to see where or how they take the Bond series forward from this one.

As the owner of all 23 previous bond movies and a self described bond Junkie... This movie was awesome. I'm ready to go see it again tomorrow.

We actually enjoyed it this past weekend. Not CR, but was pretty darn good.

We are hoping to finally get round to seeing this on Friday evening

Jen said Skyfall has been her favourite film up to now so we will see where she ranks this one

I really liked Spectre, except NOT ENOUGHT WALTZ! I really like him and I was a bit disappointed by his role. Especially twards the end. I think DC has a really good argument for best Bond, he's taken the role and made it his own kind of unique. I would be saddened to see him move on.

I agree there wasn't enough overall of the interaction with the two but when the info bomb comes out its crazy. I was like WHAT!?(no spoilers). You can definitely tell where the slow parts are but it wasn't too bad. I'll be getting this on blu ray as soon as it comes out and watching again that day.

Interesting to see where the franchise goes from here as they have finally come full circle in my opinion.

Haven't watched a Bond series film for about 3 releases, doesn't sound like I've miss d much, but might have to catch this one.

The first 3 Daniel Craig Bond's have been the best in years. See them all!

I'll be seeing Spectre tonight. Really looking forward to it.

Is this Pierce Brosnan overload? DC is in my opinion the best bond since Sean Connery. You're missing out on a few of these, specifically Casino Royale, Skyfall and Spectre

I 100% agree. Casino Royale is one of my all time favorite movies.

Agree CJ, you are definitely missing out! Skyfall and Casino Royale are right up there with the first 3 Connery films and Goldeneye.

Ditto, Craig has been way better than Brosnan.

Completely disagree. His movies overall are much better but that has zero to do with the portrayal aspect. IMHO of course.

I think Brosnan is a good Bond, Goldeneye proved that and to a lesser extent Tomorrow Never Dies. The failures in the Brosnan era were all writing and direction related.

Goldeneye rocked. I remember my dad taking me to see it in the theater for like an 11PM show.

Top 5 or 6 best Bonds to me. Pierce is a straight up badass in that movie, and it helps that he has Sean Bean to spar with.
