54w and 58x for me. I’m contemplating a 58J or 58z but I’m not too sure which to try.

How are you liking the Z compared to the C? I think I very much want the C to try out now that I've been using the X.I got the c grind which is also versatile but I want to see the differences between them!!
What were you gaming before the Jaws?I absolutely love my Jaws 54/58. The 58 had some straight up awesome flop shots today out of the rough today including one over a bunker that back spinned to the hole. Getting compliments on my wedge game was a great development as my wedge game last year was absolutely awful. They were huge at my tour event today
Have not gotten a good chance to test the 2 against each other.. I mainly used the Z Saturday and it went pretty well. In wet conditions I was pleased with how both of them interacted with the turf. I did not feel like they dug in like crazy which can happen with muddier wet lies. I only used my 54C 1 time and it was my last full shot and on a wet fairway. I did not chunk it so I was happy with that. How are you liking the Z compared to the C? I think I very much want the C to try out now that I've been using the X.
I'm playing Dynamic Gold S400 in my wedges. I'm playing KBS Tour 130x in my irons. Did this based on the fitter's recommendations and am happy I went that way. He said going down a step in flex makes sense since I won't be using them for full swings very often.Hit a lot of 50* wedges yesterday on the simulator, really trying to solidify that comfort level with a wedge I have never bagged previously. Its really strange having the spare wedge at the back end of the bag, and wanting to make sure that I don't just skip over it going from PW/AW and 54/58.
I figure if I can get that 50* working well for me this season, it could open some opportunities where I would normally need to be hitting partial shots (that maybe wouldn't be as successful.
At first I was really unsure about carrying the iron shafts into the wedges, being unfamiliar with the SteelFiber i95 shafts. The more I swing them though, and mess around with them, I am really liking the combination, and moreso liking the consistency having the same shafts top to bottom.
What shafts are you guys playing in your Jaws Raw wedges right now? Do they match your irons, or are you playing something different?
I played my previous set of Jaws Raw for about 7 months (so around 65-70 rounds) last year, they still had plenty of life left in them. My new set from the Grandaddy have only been in play since December and only have about 40 rounds on them, so I don't have the time span you're looking for yet.just a general question here......for those that have had them a few years. How soon do you think a replacement needs to happen? Having played almost exclusively Vokeys leading up to the switch a little over a year ago.......those seemed the wear faster then these. If thats possible.
Just curious i guess.
