Can someone tell me about bag tags?

I have a bunch of them from courses I've played. They're nice reminders of some really great trips.

Same here buddy, not senseless at all IMO. I don't measure myself by how many tags I have or where they came from, but I can look at them and instantly be taken back to a tremendous memory with friends.

I have the THP one and my PGA membership tag.

I will buy a logo ball of the course I've played. Maybe a shirt.

I remember in an outing I was caddying in a guest pulled his car up and I pulled his staff bag out of the trunk. There were literally hundreds of bag tags hanging off the bag...he had zip ties holding them all together.

I found that obnoxious but to each there own.

I had 2 PGA National on my bag and someone stole them, go figure

I love bag tags, especially those with the golfer's name on them. I check them often during a round because I can't remember names. That's the main reason my USGA tag (and hopefully at some point an Albatross one) is on my bag: so I can remember my name.

So do you have those tags on your golf bag or displayed elsewhere?

i display the memorable ones (Pebble Beach and St. Andrews) along side my golf ball rack. Just cool mementos.
