Recently I have limited my long swing warm up and focused more on around the green stuff. I have seen some better results but notice it take me a few holes to warm up. I feel like there should be a warm up hole. That would be perfect.
 
Nope. I've had great range sessions and terrible rounds afterwards, and vice versa. That's golf!!
 
I think if more peeps paid attention to their shots on the range they would play better on the course.
If I'm playing a tourney I see what my shot shape is
 
When you get to be my age there is no pre-round range time. You save what energy you have for the actual round, get through that then go home and nap.
 
my buddy and I split a small bucket of balls (maybe about a dozen balls each) just to warm up and get loose. I am learning not to use that feedback as a omen.

I do use feedback from the practice putting green to determine how the greens will be rolling for the day.
