There are many ways I enjoy a burger, but if I had to pick one it would be a simple, all American burger.
- 1/4lb patty, cooked medium (pink, but not bleeding)
- shredded lettuce (it has to be shredded, that's what makes the burger)
- slice of tomato
- dill pickles (at least 3 chips, the more the better)
- ketchup
- a smear of yellow mustard
- a smear of mayo
- and some kind of hearty, but not hard bun, like a potato bun or something.
NO cheese, NO bacon, plain and simple.
Now if I want to go exotic, my pick would hands down be:
- 1/4lb patty, cooked medium (pink, but not bleeding)
- blueberry jam, with pieces of blueberries in it
- delicious, creamy, melty brie cheese
- and a hearty, but not hard bun.
Mouth watering!
Listen you guys...An ideal burger is one that keeps its form throughout the eating experience, isn't stupid messy, and one that you can easily take a bite of (not something piled 3 feet high). So I give you...
THE REGULAR:
- 1/4 lb 80/20 chopped meat
- shredded iceburg lettuce (shredded real nice, that's the key)
- thin sliced tomatoes (2 slices)
- thin sliced red onion
- pickles
- Ketchup (or thousand island dressing)
- Potato Bun
You're welcome!
Clearly we could go eat a burger together since we basically described the same thing. And yes, shredded lettuce is key, it makes the burger.
