Not sure how or why this came to mind this morning but I began wondering about the first online golf retailer I could remember using. My first online golf purchase would have been sometime in the late 90s. It was probably Golfsmith. But I remember a company called Pro Line Golf or something similar that sold demos, unsold inventory or whatnot from clubs across the country. I want to say it was based in Fort Worth.

I think mine was golfetail.com in the early 2000's.

Rock Bottom Golf

Would have been rock bottom golf

Online I used to use Golfsmith, TGW and Golf Discount.com . I don't remember when it was.

TGW.

Does eBay count?

I bought the Rocketbladez irons that led me to this fine forum from Carl's Golfland. I think I bought a 5W from them as well.

Golfworks.com

It’s probably Golf Avenue for me.

Most likely Rock Bottom Golf

TGW.com

Golfsmith was probably the first one I used.
