If legacy is so important to the tour: Eliminate purses completely, with all events to played by amateurs.
 
1) Allow LIV players to compete again on the PGAT and allow PGAT players to compete if they want on LIV events. Let the best golfers play against each other more often.
2) Get rid of Monahan . His damage to the PGAT tour is noteworthy. And there are huge trust issues with the PGAT players concerning his leadership..
3) there needs to be a better Golf Channel than we have today. Since the takeover by NBC Sports, its rubbish. Rename the so called golf channel to the Golf News Channel, so the talking heads can talk. Have a Golf Tournament Channel where ALL GOLF is showcased, ( no golfing news, no opinions about the world, just Golf not just the PGAT but the Champions Tour, LPGA, DP, LIV, College etc...
 
Get rid of the programmed and scripted announcers and hire more like Tony Johnston so I can turn off the mute button.
 
The best players need to compete more than 4 times a year.
