GRIPS Driver vs Irons/Wedges

Another possibly dumb beginner question...

What types of grips should you put on a driver?

I recently regripped my irons to the Golf Pride VDR's

and then regripped my Drivers with the same.

Should I use GP VDRs on my drivers or might they be too soft?

I have NDMC on my irons and driver. I like 2 wraps on driver, 3 on irons, and 4 on wedges, but the actual grip works universally.

Thanks, Yah i didnt really know, because i havent really seen any Golf Pride New Decades or VDRs on Drivers, so I didnt know if there was a reason or if it is just a preference
