Happy Veterans Day to all my THP folks and also to my father in law who served in the USAF as a pararescue AFSOC operator and my brother in law who served in the cav, he did two tours in Iraq during his 8 years.

I hope to follow them soon as a officer in the US army Medical Service Corps

Happy Veteran's Day

Today (and every Veterans Day) reminds me of when my father (retired USAF) came to DC 5 years ago on Veterans Day and we went to the Mall and saw all the military monuments including the WWII that had just opened.

He was so proud. It ended up being his last Veterans Day as he contracted Cancer and died the following spring.

I'm do glad he made that trip and we saw those monuments together.
