There’s a great thread on THP “how many rounds in a row can you make a birdie.”

What about this one... how many rounds in a row can you chip in.

I’m up to an outrageous 4 rounds in a row and I don’t expect it to continue or indeed for me to ever get anywhere near again for the rest of my playing days!

Can we hear THP’s chip in tales? 😊
 
I’d say a realistic streak is one for me.
 
If using a putter from off the green doesn’t count, maybe only a few chip shots made per year(95 rounds). I have holed out from beyond 85 yards twice this year and holed a couple of green side bunker shots but neither of those are in the chip shot category.
 
Not sure I’ve ever had a chip in two rounds in a row, but certainly not for lack of effort!
 
We will find out this weekend. I holes one out last Saturdayband play again on Sunday.
 
Can't remember, i faint everytime i chip in.
 
One for me. I was 1/4” away from two last night.
 
Hell, I’m impressed if I get one chip in a month
 
I'd have to say 1. I'm not close enough on my chips to make back to back rounds statistically possible. but I'm working to improve

Yeah I don’t think I’ve chipped in multiple rounds in a row but I have chipped in multiple times in a round. I’ve actually gotten up to 14 chip ins on the year and I’m shocked by that. Started keeping track after I got to three, very early on in the season
 
I've had a few extremely rare rounds when I've holed more than one chip, chutt, pitch, sand shot but I don't know that I've ever had 2 rounds in a row with a hole out. Good streak OP.
 
I can't recall ever doing it. I've been close,. Maybe it's happened. I'm going to say 1 might be my current max while 0 is my usual.
 
My max lifetime is 1 in a row.

I have had 2 in one round
 
Chip in streak? Yeah, that's foreign to me. I don't have any stats to back it up but i'm fairly certain that i chip in about 1 time every year. But i do remember chipping in for birdie on a par 3 in a Mid Am qualifying round in Dallas once, so there's that.
 
Last year it seemed like every other round. This year I have only had one and it was at Tobacco Road in March
 
Pretty much one. I can’t remember the last time I chipped in and I don’t think I have ever followed it up.
 
No streak, but I chip in occasonally. This summer, I usually have 4-5 per round that come soooo close.
 
I had two in one round, sadly the second was for bogey on a tricky par three. Didn't break 80 but set a record for low putts that day.

I've done it twice this year. Definitely not in back to back rounds. Doesn't happen very frequently for me, though in my 9 hole round this morning it almost happened.
 
4 in a row is very impressive! Highly doubt I have ever exceeded 2 in a row.
 
a long time since i chipped in ... a few lips caught recently though.
 
The responses here are interesting to me. I am thinking maybe being a high handicapper gives me an advantage here because I am typically right around the green chipping for par, but I've had 4 or 5 10-20 yard chip ins just this summer. I'm thinking maybe only one of them was for birdie, and at least 2 were for bogey or worse.
