I play Starr Pass just about every Sunday. Being as my father-in-law is a ranger there, and my mother-in-law works in the uniform department, and my brother-in-law (also my instructor) is the head of stewarding at the hotel up there, I play for free. Whereabouts in the Old Pueblo do you play?

I've played most tracks around Tucson, except for some of the higher-end ones. I'm dying to play Loews Ventana Canyon, Arizona National, and Omni!

I have played Starr Pass about a dozen times but not recently. Three challenging nines. If you can play well there, you can play well anywhere. Ventana Canyon (either course) is one of my favorites. Pretty affordable after May on GolfNow. Omni is always in good shape and Az National has come back well after IRI not paying employees or their water bill last year. Play Sewailo if you get the chance. Tough, but really a good track. I mostly play the munis - have an annual pass - but belong to a club that plays the nice courses twice per month.
