I've done the old "grab the 6i thinking it was the 9i" or vice-versa before. It sucks when you're expecting the ball to go 9i length and it flies past... or you're expecting 6i length and it falls short.
I'm thankful my 6 and 9 irons have a line under them showing which is which.
