Napoleon - Ridley Scott Film

I read a review that states that the movie depicts that Napoleon thought he could complete the Russia campaign in 3 Weeks.

That’s not true, he lost 100K men to typhus (unexpected of course), and then the Grande Army was cooked. But he never believed he could do it in 3 weeks.
He was arrogant, but not stupid. Haha

I thought about seeing this today, then saw it was 3 hours long. I didn’t have that much time. 👎

Will be going next weekend , having seen some of the previews for last several weeks

Saw the movie, left ambivalent over it ,, parts were quite good others not so much … my partner she left with a more favourable leaning she really liked it .

Just got back watching this one with the son. We are both history buffs. Good movie. Wouldn’t say it was fantastic!

Trying to watch this tonight and I'm struggling. There are some parts that are really good, then there are far more parts that are comically bad and almost make me hate the film entirely. Definitely not something I'd ever rewatch.
