Nor Cal Outing: Lake Tahoe Open & Forum Contest

Welcome THP to another Nor Cal outing! T-Minus 7 Days for the Lake Tahoe Open where 13 guys will be playing up in Truckee, CA for a few rounds of fun competition and we all will be sharing a cabin for more debauchery after the rounds. Even though this is a Nor Cal outing it has always been open to everyone on the forum and we are lucky to have 2018 Grandaddy Captain Tequila4Kapp join in on the festivities from Oregon, Mr.Hicksta from Hawaii (formerly Nor Cal) and Big Time Nate all the way from the state of Texas. I have been looking forward to getting a round together up in Tahoe and want it to be a great time out so I have added a few fun things along the way so keep an eye out on the thread. See below for the Forum Contest!

When: August 25th-26th
Where: Truckee, CA

Round 1: Coyote Moon - Sat, Aug 25th @ 1:00 p.m.
Round 2: Old Greenwood - Sun, Aug 26th @ 8:00 a.m.
Round 3: Gray's Crossing - Sun, Aug 26th @ 2:00 p.m.

Scoring Format: Best 18

- Create your best 18 Hole score over the course of the event.
- For players playing only 2 rounds (*) you may bank as few as 1 or as many as 18 scores after a round.
- For players playing 3 rounds, you must bank 6 scores after each round.
- Double Bogey MAX
- Yardages TBD
- Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, etc on course contests

Lake Tahoe Leaderboard

- Will be updated in real time after a golfer banks a score.

Forum Contest

- Pick one Historical Golfer and One Iconic Golf course from the cards below.
* To enter... simply respond to this thread saying something along the lines of Tiger Woods at Augusta National

- Each Lake Tahoe Open Participant will be randomly paired with a golfer and a course and their scores will account for both.
*If Wonton shoots 72 and has been randomly paired with both Tiger and Augusta National... then both Tiger & Augusta will have scores of 72.

- Tiebreaker #1 is lowest single score between Historical Golfer and Iconic Golf Course
- Tiebreaker #2 random draw

- The forum contest leaderboard will be updated in real time here - Forum Contest Leaderboard
- Winner acquires some swag from the event
