R9 Irons, opinions now that they have been out for a while

They look that way from the pictures people have posted. I love the way a R9 looks at address. Even though I thought the CG 16 I hit over the weekend looked great from address too. It is going to be hard to feel better than an R9 IMO.

I would think so too. Should be fun to find out.

I really love my Forged Nike Split Cavity irons, but with all the great reviews on the R9 TP irons and the great prices I have seen on them I am SO tempted to put them in my bag. I hit them on a monitor but have not hit them outside yet. According to the monitor all my shots were about 10 yards longer than my current set. I wish I could have seen the ball flight. The R9 TP seems to have a forged feel even though they are not forged, and it sounds like they may even have a little more forgiveness than my Split Cavities. Don't know whether to pull the trigger on these or not! I really wish I could afford the new MC irons but I can't throw down $900 right now.
