Can’t do IPA. Just. Can’t. Do. It.
The intensity is too overwhelming. However, I enjoy a Guiness extra stout from time to time and that’s not exactly water.

For you big IPA guys, I found a new one from Deschutes this week that is damn tasty. It’s 9% so be careful out there!

I will keep an eye out for it.

I am on Pumpkin beer kick. I can’t find the Dogfish Head Punkin in stock, but for the NC folk, Foothills is a good alternative and is cheaper.
 
I think it was just last year that I read a review of pumpkin beers. The author basically said there were only two worth trying one sweeter (I forget what) and the other New Belgium's Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin. It is excellent.

From their website: Pumpkin juice, Saigon Cinnamon, Habanero, Aji and Del Arbol peppers.

Truthfully I'm not a massive IPA fan either but I'm all for trying and widening my palate. This one was highly recommended so I gave it a go!
Today is something from where most of you guys are! My first time to try and I really like it!

Used to be my favorite Oktoberfest, but I’m not so sure anymore 🤔 either way, it gets the job done after doing work outside.

Tonight I'm having a porter. Certainly more subtle flavours than the stronger ones I was expecting.

Back on the KBS train. It’s sweeter than the Breakfast Stout, which I prefer to this.

A couple from the last week.
Jaipur is England's most decorated beer, personally I was expecting more. The Mocha was very nice.

It's not a hops in your face kinda ipa, very smooth. Great beer solid 4/5 in my one sip taste test
