Is there any advantage to laying out your bet this early? Is it possible the odds change or something? If not, I am waiting until it gets close and make sure there are no injuries, etc.

As of now, odds won't change because that would affect all the bets already in. That may change in future events but this is still all a "test phase"

What Are They
Joining the Albatross Club has always had a ton of perks along with helping a wonderful cause. Now it also provides the ability to earn Albatross Coins and banking them for future purchases. When you sign up for the Albatross Club (or if you are already signed up for 2024), you will get 35 Albatross Coins deposited into your "sportsbook account" you can find in your profile. If you are not a member, but want to participate, click here and signup now.

What Are They Worth
Albatross Coins have no cash value. With that said, they are worth quite a bit if you like the goods of THP Partners and event hosts. Soon you will be able to trade those coins in for items like new golf balls, apparel and even equipment.

What Happens If I Run Out
First, we will call you a degenerate. Kidding of course. In reality these are not purchasable, so be careful how and how much you wager. But if you run out, before the next Albatross Club renewal, you will get 1-2 coins when the betting window opens up for another event. This way you can win yourself out of the hole and start the accumulation phase up again.

How Does It Work
At the top of the forum in the green menu bar, you will now see something called Sportsbook. It is a drop down and it shows current and upcoming events that have been created, and clicking it will bring you to a screen with the current Experience. As an example, the screen will show the betting odds like this.

You can place wagers on team or teams you think will win and cash home based on the odds that our resident oddsmaker @JDax has created. There is a maximum limit to 5 coins wagered on a team or prop bet right now.

When Can I Get Equipment
Its coming. We promise. Right now this is only in the test mode and we are calling it accumulation phase. You can accumulate (or lose) your coins right now, but as soon as it is ready to roll out for good, those coins will be able to be used.

What Events Are Ready
The first test run is for the WorldWide Golf Championship and that kicks off next week. The betting window is open, but will close the morning of the event, so all wagers must be placed before then.

Remember, all Live Update Threads for the Experiences have scores and updates frequently. So you will be able to follow along with your "horses" and see how they are faring and cheer them on. Who is ready to have some fun and follow along?

Finley strategy - save all Albatross coins throughout year, bet all Albatross coins on GOAT Cup and Grandaddy, Team Finley/Team Callaway and any/all prop bets. :LOL:
