This is how Yogi protests. He wanted to go for a walk but it was pouring out. He’s a little strange.

I had to physically restrain this jerk because he is climbing into every cabinet and drawer I open while I put dishes away.

Charlie is a great dog, smart, and full of energy. One thing I wish he could do is stand up for himself around other dogs. He lets other dogs push him around. I have done some reading on the subject and have come to the conclusion that it is my responsibility to be his defender or protector, and that it would not be wise to try to teach him to stand up for himself because it really wouldn't be possible. Anybody else have any dealings with this situation?

They seem to be enjoying watching Ida’s wrath, but then again they don’t need to worry about potential water in the basement.

We watched a relative's dog for a little over a week and now Jenn is itching to get another one. I will say, it was nice having a dog in the house. I've certainly missed that.

You could always foster or do Rover too, if you’re not sure about having a permanent pup.

I'm good with a permanent member of the family. We had an awesome yellow lab for 13 years that we had to say goodbye to in January and it absolutely crushed me.

Double trouble!!

dude has bounced back well. changed up abx and added some pain meds. still not sure what was going on exactly.

Well after several months of up and down doggo health, a couple hospitalizations, and regrets for not getting doggo insurance. Puppers diagnosed with Addison's, should be able to treat. (y)

Those are great looking Labs !!
They still have "Puppy Faces"

Thanks!! Winnie, chocolate, is 6 months.

Sage is 8 months.

We had an Addison's dog, sounds like you started the same way we did, tough diagnosis for the Vets to nail down, and thought we were going to lose him a couple of times before they figured it out. Treatment, monitoring, and regular Vet attention kept Warner going for seven years, and it cost a small fortune, but worth every cent. It is really hard on them long term, and shortens their lifespan quite a bit, but we were glad to keep him going as long as we did, which was a good bit longer than our Vet expected..

Warner at about age five, a couple of years after his diagnosis, and doing really well.

Warner a little less than five years later, almost age ten, and wouldn't be with us much longer after this pic was taken.

Posted this one on insta. This little guy is on the course with me almost everyday, but couldn't be most of the weekend. He was so excited to be out there with us this afternoon that he totally forgot he's nearing 14 and was running around like a frisky puppy for hours. Wore himself out so bad he didn't even want to watch the road coming home.

@YukonLiving i like how said lived a full life. Condolences for your and your family’s loss.

The magic of a new pup is that your memories of your beloved lab will turn instantly from painful to happy~ You'll go from missing him to being glad that you had him.

You’ll never hit a fastball if the bat stays on your shoulder. Zero chance but it’s fun seeing his hunting instincts kick in.
