The end of an era - I donated my last remaining fish to my mother-in-law and cleaned out the tank. I still have the betta tank, but this way I can spend more time with the cats and dogs.

I had an Norwegian Elkhound that would lay in the snow when the temps were -20 outside. Couldn't get her back in the house
As long as the sun was out to keep her warm, she was good to go.
Our Yellow Lab - rescued from the streets of TN - loved to sun herself on the cedar deck by the pool. In her youth.

That's incredible. I was uncomfortable standing outside under the covered porch, I don't know how he was doing that in the sun. Although he did finally come inside and get water and then lay by the air vent haha.

Our dog does the same. I can’t even walk barefoot on these pavers during summer. I took this picture on a day in June that was 115! Plenty of shade and grass available, and she picks the pavers!?

It defies all logic.
Our basset hound brutus has 3 beds. Big, small, and smaller. The small beds are from our tiny dog from yrs ago. Damn brutus curls up in the small beds hanging over the sides. Dogs are goofy.

We took Wally out on the pontoon boat a couple weeks back on the Missouri River, he was not the biggest fan of his life jacket.
Coco got spayed on Tuesday and she is sad and very sore.
My best pal, Buddy, is celebrating his first birthday today! He has a huge personality and is the most loving creature that I've ever seen. Always happy and playful, Buddy has brought us tons of joy and laughter this past year. Happy Birthday, pal!
