Thoughts on a Fun Build... Mother's Day S400s

Wow, so I won the incredible True Temper Mother's Day give away. Very cool of TT (Keenan, Kris) to do this contest and I'm incredibly grateful they chose the entry I submitted on Twitter.

Now, here I am....wheels spinning on how to do these Pink S400 shafts (3 wedge shafts) justice. Seems like a fun sort of tribute to my mom. I have full intentions of gaming what I build with them.


What ferrules, wedge heads, grips would you build?


I have some fun ideas, but curious what you guys come up with?

One idea...

a grip for each club in a different color... so you've got the gamut of the rainbow in your bag.
Ferrules like what you posted... baby blue and pink
Colorfill the club heads in royal purple? Not sure how it would go with the pink

Mizuno Blue heads with that ferrule you posted & either a blue or black grip.

Those shafts deserve a set of blades. Maybe some Callaway Apex MB irons. Bright blue grips and the colored ferrules.

So set of new Jaws or SM8 wedges then.

Orange grip on one
Grey grip on one

Baby blue and pink ferrules

Colorfilled black letters

Stamped or painted clouds on one head
Stamped or painted hearts on one head
Stamped or painted cupids on one head

Those are awesome.

Rtx4s or maybe sm8 heads with matching pink paint fill. Going to have to think about the rest.

Colored ferrules are definitely a smart move, I like pink and blue together. Remembering seeing that contest online, glad a THPer got the W!

3 TM Wedges, MG2s and Hi-Toes the new black flavor with the colored ferrules of your choice, although I think the pink and baby blue is the best. Would look great IMHO

How did they turn out?

I was hoping for the rainbow ferrules and like a lime green grip. Only because I've never seen a neon tie-dye grip.

Agree on theblack heads, but I dont typically like black headed wedges because I find it harder to aim the face of a black wedge.

Debating on which heads to buy.

I’m leaning to the Jaws or the SM8s I think.
