Anyone here still playing this ball? I’ve been wanting to try them and the YouTube reviews look great but just wondering about the average golfers opinion.
Titleist Tour Speed Golf Ball Review
I went in search of the answer. I bought a dozen of Tour Speed and ProV1x. (ProV1 not to be found) . I’ll play them completely through for as long as I keep them and they are in good shape. Off of the driver the distance and curvature was not different. Swing dependent as per always. Irons…. I got a flier from the Tour Speed with a Gap Wedge. Only one, none with the ProV1X. Control going into greens…. I seemed to have better proximity with the 1X but nominal really. Putting was a wash. The Cobra putter (SuperNova is amazing) and I couldn’t hear or feel a difference. Wedges:Tour speed was hard for me to keep low on 10-20 yard shots. I quit trying. Played it high and it worked out. I would recommend it. The only problem I see is that it isn’t much cheaper than the Z Star line from Srixon.
