Oh man, tell my wife I need another bag and watch what happens.. I think these will look good alongside my all black T100S and vokey's though. I'll have a full titleist bag if I can find the right putter. And a full TM bag, and Cally bag, and Honma bag....
Haha, your 4th bag will look like my main bag

A Scotty will be needed

Congrats on the new toys! The 3 wood is just crazy good.
Did you notice the difference between the way they sit? I don't really remember that from the reviews, but in better light today it seemed glaring.

I didn't but I tend to set up with a little bit of a closed face.

I have an appt for an outdoor fitting with a Titleist rep. I'm excited in that I have a hangup about swinging clubs indoors and much prefer to have an outdoor fitting. And it'll be my first true dedicated fitting session. I've had a few quick 'demo day' fittings, but never a dedicated session.

After buying a lot of drivers 'blind', I'm looking forward to seeing what I can get from being professionally fit.

The few times I've done outdoor fittings with Titleist I have found that the fit was good but that I also learned so much during the process. Can't wait to hear what your experience is like.

Can't agree more, I have played golf for about 10 yrs and have been through many brands/shaft combos. However I never felt my game was established enough to do a true fitting. When I did mine via Titleist Thursdays, the fitter was thorough and explained every change he was doing. He never tried to push me into anything, really just kept tweaking things til the optimal results started coming through. For me he was trying to reduce spin and get a better landing angle to increase rollout. Not to mention since we were outdoors, get a nice flat peak flight and straighten shots out. As crazy as it sounds, at the very end he threw me a few ProV1's to hit (which are my gamer) and my shots were even better than hitting the beat up range balls.
To conclude things, I ended up being fitted for a completely different loft, shaft flex/weight than I ever have used before. So it really goes to show what a proper fitting can do for you.

I was invited to go to a TSI fitting last wed for the driver and FW wood up in Scottsdale. Titleist gave us a rundown on the new driver & fw wood along with info on the new 2021 Prov's and Prov1x balls coming out. We received a sleeve of the new balls also to try!

I will start by saying my driver swing that day was rough but I managed to get some solid strikes with my current gamer to get some baseline numbers for him. The fitter started me with a TS2I . The shape reminds me a lot of my current gamer but it had a much different sound. @mikeg_74 asked above what the sound was like and his description of metallic is a good way to describe it. I loved the sound on the first hit. This is my first time hitting a Titleist driver so I cannot compare the sound to any others they have had.

The TSI2 felt great right away and and the first thing the fitter told me is my spin numbers were way down compared to my Gamer. My miss is a push right when I am struggling with the driver. With the TSI2 that really made the push to the right very playable. They were no where near as far right for me so hopefully that will help me stay in play a bit more. We settled in on a Tensei AV White Raw 65 gram shaft at 45 inches. Titleist also has a weight kit so you can change out the weights and we took the stock one out and added 4 more grams. Once that adjustment was made I started ripping drives right down the middle! I think my best drive that day was almost 270 with the most between 240 and 260. Toe hits were very forgiving also. You can see the ball strike on the face they were using a rag with just water to clean them off each time.

We tried the TS3I head with the same shaft and the results were just not quite as good and I need all of the forgiveness I can get lol! I also preferred the head shape of the TS2I. Both heads are beautiful and Titleist did a great job with the sound and feel.

We were told that the shaft options were real deal shafts and not made for Titleist also.

I also hit the 3 wood TS2I with the same shaft. First swing 240 with a nice high straight ball flight. The next three swings were the same flight just a bit farther. That club felt like you were hitting the ball with a sledgehammer just so solid! Looking forward to getting these in play soon! I will say the TS3I adjustable weight in the FW is really slick.

We went to a place called Desert Mountain in Scottsdale. 7 golf courses and all private is my understanding. The course we were on was called Renegade and it is all bent grass. An absolutely beautiful place too bad I cant play there lol!

Do you remember what the stock weight was before swapping out for the heavier one?

I did the fitting today. It was right after a round where I drove the ball pretty well. I hit my current 410 LST 10.5 with a Tensei Orange as a baseline. Based on that they gave me a 10* TSi2 to try. It was a hit lower and had a with a more penetrating trajectory than the PING. They felt it brought my launch and spin down. My misses were mild pushes, - good club path, slightly open face. I've always fought a hook with the driver, so part of it was letting it go.

Once I did, I was hitting the TSI2 consistently longer than my PING. My spin numbers came down a bit as well. They asked how the feel was and I said fine. They asked if I wanted to try to higher weight shaft that make me feel better releasing the club. The higher weight shaft was easier to swing smoothly and I hit some of my best drives with it.

I took a peek at the shafts and they were AV Blue x-flex 55 and 65. I went to take a few more swing. But it was like once I knew the flex of the shaft, I was trying to kill it and hitting hard hooks.

The numbers both in distance/dispersion were better. But as a guy who swings 95-100, it seems like too stout a shaft for me. I should've pushed to hit a stiff just to see what the difference was. I walked away knowing what I saw and what the numbers were, but not convinced it was the best fit. Or maybe it's just mental, lol.

Does anyone have an idea of how long orders are currently taking? I know they say the official release isn't until Nov 12, but I ordered mine last week. Hoping to get it before Thanksgiving.

My local club that I ordered thru last week told me it would be here on release day (12th). I am hoping it's sooner, but who knows. Can't wait to get mine TBH, first club I have ever been fitted for and my driving is one of the weaker parts of my game.

I had a really good weekend with the TSI2. I shot an 80 and an 82. Part of that was keeping the ball in play off the tee. I only had one OB ball on 18 yesterday and I really should have used the 3 wood but we were having fun and I wanted to rip it. If I stay planted and keep my head still which are two things I struggle with the TSI2 is flawless for me. Longest drive of the weekend was 291 which just felt effortless. Arccos has my smart range at 266 since resetting the sensor for the new driver.

I did add the 5 wood which showed up in just about a week last Friday. The FW woods are just amazing I will post in the other thread about those!

Hit TSi3 today. I'm in love.

8* head with weight in T2. Smoke RDX 6.5. 169 BS AVG with flirts into the 170s. Spin at 2300* and launch at 11*. Pretty forgiving across the face. Great shape and sound. I did not try the TSi2 I was so impressed with the 3.

Need to get it outside and on the course. I'm really impressed right now.

I didn't play today, because in the process of keeping one of my guys from talking a fall yesterday, I seriously pissed off my elbow.

Then while shopping for other things I decided to hit the TSi3 again, because I'm stupid. So now I have an even more sore elbow, and some really unimpressive totals rolling around in my head.

The good news is that the important avg numbers were basically unchanged for me with the 10* RDX 60 6.5 in C1. Mid 12 launch and 2250 spin, despite swinging like a prepubescent chess champion version of myself. So I'm taking that as a positive sign for the days when I don't have it. And it still looked and sounded great of course. I'm looking forward to mine showing up at some point.

Yea I am hopeful my spec'd order shows up before the 12th, but most likely it probably won't. Stinks because for the next week the weather in WNY is going to be 60-70* and prime, I know I'll still be able to squeak in a few rounds later but it woulda been nice!

I got my first order in just over a week. I then ordered the 5 wood and got that an exact week later also.

So im about 50/50 on picking up a TSi3 or a discounted SIM.

Not sure which I prefer right now. I was really impressed with the TSi3. Then again I'm not sure why I'm considering moving away from my SZX.

Got a fitting scheduled for a tsi driver and 3 wood. Curious to see the results! Probably the most interesting TItleist tech story in a while in my opinion.

I just came back from a Titleist Thursday fitting where I tried out the new TSi drivers. In summary they are very very nice clubs but neither driver was good enough to justify the spend over my Mavrik driver.

The fitter is a guy I play with regularly who knows my game which was nice. My regular driver swing is roughly 93 mph although I can juice it to 96-97 and still find the sweet spot. I hit both the 2 and the 3 with a couple of different shafts and I could play either head but I was a bit more comfortable with the 2. Similarly I could get pretty decent results with a variety of shafts. I hit both the Tensei blue and the Smoke RDX and could play either one. I did seem to hit the Tensei a bit higher which is generally a good thing for me. I also hit the different GD shafts in the fitting cart and none of them were a big enough improvement to justify the extra money.

If I was going to buy one I would likely go TSi 2 10* with Tensei Blue stiff. I would say vs my Mavrik (10.5* set to 9.5 D w.Rogue white stiff) the TSi 2 might be faster away from the sweet spot but not a big improvement on shots hit square.

Most of my drives were 210-225 of carry with good accuracy. The difference was how fast I swung the driver. I have been working on swinging faster and I was able to get to 97 on the Trackman which corresponded to 227 carry. I am pretty sure that swing was actually a 10* 2 with a 5.5 flex RDX. I hit some good balls with that shaft but it was a bit looser than I would like.

At the end of the day the fitter agreed that there wasn’t enough of an improvement to justify the spend which made my wife very happy.

So the titleist is probably faster on miss hits?

It could be but it was a bit hard for me to tell. Generally while I don’t have a ton of speed and I hit with a bit of a downward swing path I hit driver quite consistently. I didn’t have many real bad results with either of the Titleists or the Mavrik. Frankly I find the Mavrik pretty forgiving.

I believe they market the TSi line as a club that has some of the fastest ball speeds out there. When I was going thru my fitting I found that the forgiveness on the face was much better than any driver I have ever used. My miss is usually towards the heel and even on those strikes my ball flew a good distance with minimal bad dispersion. I've been a TM driver guy for a long time but flirted with a 913 awhile back. However ever since the TS2 came out I've always been interested, this was the perfect timing to get a fitting and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Again I think with any club you gotta feel confident looking down at it and how it feels, so that is sorta the X factor for each individual person. In the past the "D2" models felt large/not sleek, where the TSi2 I commented to my fitter hides its larger/longer shape very well. And the sound as many have commented is very strong/pleasant, feels like your hitting the best shot of your life every time. The excitement is killing me to get mine in hand, can't wait to share actual course results that should meet/exceed my Trackman numbers.
