What are you seeing as yardage gaps with 4 degree loft increments in your wedges. I’m currently 50 54 and 58 for my gap sand and lob

Set wedge at 48, Specialty wedges at 52, 56, 60 ( this one sometimes comes out of my bag ).

My pitching wedge is 44.
From there I’m moving to 50-56-62 in the coming days.
So 6* increments for me.

PW = 44. From there I'm currently going 48 > 54 > 60. I intend to tighten it up a little in the near future ... 44 > 48 > 53 > 58. I think I'll be more consistent with a 58* LW.

What are your average yardage gaps.

PW: 47* 128 yards
51*: 116 yards
55*: 105 yards
59*: 95 yards

I use a 51° GW (Z785), 56° SW (Vokey SM6), and 60° LW (Vokey SM6). My full shot yardages are 105, 85, 70... ish.

I use a very similar setup. 54 and 58 for my wedges with a 50 as an attack/gap wedge.

I find that the 50 is about 20 yards longer than my 54, but my 54 is only 10 longer than my 58.

50 - 105 smart distance Arccos
54 - 84 smart distance Arccos
58 - 74 smart distance Arccos

I play a set GW for 85 yards and PW for 95 yards then I use a °53/10, a °56/08 and a, °60/05 and don't really use them for full swing distances. I pull the wedge that the lie dictates. YMMV 😎

I have too many wedges and would like to ultimately consolidate my wedges somehow. Currently playing:
43° PW (125-130 yds);
48° AW (115-120 yds);
52° (110 yds);
56° (95-100 yds); and
60° (80-90 yds).
I wonder if replacing my AW and GW with a 50° wedge bent to 49° and swapping my 56° for a 54° would do the trick. I suppose it would.

PW (45*) - 135 yards
AW (50*) - 125 yards
SW (54*) - 115 yards
LW (58*) - 105 yards

This is my full swing gapping for my wedges. Now I will say, I don’t think I have ever hit a full LW on the course, that club I usually only use from about 80 and in, anything on the course between 80 and 115 I usually go SW. I just don’t feel comfortable with a full swing LW.

I play 46*, 52*, and 64* and like it. For me 4* separation between wedges is too close.

I use a 50, 55 (bent from 54), and 60. I don't hit many full wedge shots, but my full numbers are something like 125, 115, 102. But if I have 115 I'm almost always using the 50. Likewise, I'm probably using the 55 down to 95 yards, maybe a bit shorter.

Like many, I rarely if ever hit full shots with my SW or LW on the course but I did learn my carries with them just to know. I will play full shots with PW or GW if needed though.
44* PW = 117
48* GW = 106
54* SW = 88
60* LW = 65

I have three specialty wedges that aren't part of my iron set. A 52, 56 and 60. These are my full shot distances and I don't really have any issues swinging full on any of them. Though that isn't how I always play them
52 - 110
56 - 95
60 - 80

I am right at 10 yards between 50 and 54 and 54 and 58.

I feel like the question you're asking, the one the last couple guys answered, is completely based on individual swing and speed, and clubs used. Are just trying to ask if people are generally getting the gaps they want on 4* increments?

Mine are currently 44,49, 54, and 58, and a complete mess on the gapping. I'm working on it though.

Set gap wedge is a Ping G700 at 49. Then Cleveland RTX4 52 and 56.

CBX 2 48*, 52* & CBX 2 full face 56*. 48* is 90, 52* is 75 & 56* is 60. G700 PW is 48*.

Sounds like my set
PW at 45
GW at 50
SW at 54
LW at 58

I like what I have

46, 50, 54, 58...

I carry the set PW (41°) and AW (46°), and 54° and 58° that weren't part of the set. According to Garmin, my yardages are:

PW - 120
AW - 115
54° - 90
58° - 75

I only occasionally use the 54 for full shots and seldom use the 58 - their yardages are based on a pretty limited data set, but I wanted to know how far I hit them. Even the PW is based on pretty limited data, as I often lay up to AW yardage and use it by far the most often of all my wedges for full shots.

PW @ 46 is 115
50 is 100
54 is 90
58 is 65

I cannot work out why. The gaps between them are all over the place but I cannot seem to make any adjustments that help. 😢

I have 42* PW, 46* PW2, 50* Specialty, 54* Specialty

42* 110
46* 100
50* 85
54* 70

Seems like I have posted my wedge gaps so many times, but here goes again 48-54-58. Now if I could use them properly :ROFLMAO:
