Powers Boothe was always a son of a b*tch in most things he was in...

He also hammed it up to about a 15 on 10 in the movie "Sudden Death" with Van Damme. It's unfortunate that Alan Rickman just ruined bad guys for so long because he was so spectacular in Die Hard.

For like the next 10 years every villain in the "Die Hard on a Blank" genre was just insanely over the top

Eric Bogosian in Under Siege 2 probably was the worst. But Powers Boothe in Sudden Death was close!
