Would you rather... checkup or release?

Sometimes i want it to check, sometimes i want it to release. I want to be able to play either.

the check and spin back looks way cooler. But honestly, I'm good with either as long as I know that is how it is going to perform the majority of the time.

Check up...I can be more aggressive with the shot if I know the ball will do that.

I play the check up game, however have a short game lesson coming up so this may be changing.
