I'd probably pass on those industrial strength looking things. If for no other reason than the $200 price tag. That's the equivalent of 9 rounds of golf for me. Priorities are important.

I do like the concept of a high top golf shoe. At my age, the extra ankle support comes in handy. I wear a 3/4 top walking shoe/boot to golf in now for that reason.
