Top two are my everyday wear watches: Tag Heuer Aquaracer 300M and Baume&Mercier Dual Time.

Bottom set are watches I just inherited including my grandfather's Rolex, my grandfather's Bulova Pilot Watch from WW2, my great-grandfather's Elgin pocket watch, and my great-great-grandfather's Elgin pocket watch.

Very cool peg, I bet those watches mean to world to you, both of your daily watches look great too.

After a long search today my wife picked up an Eco Drive. Looks great in person and really suits her.

Nice pickup to AG's wife! And AS, glad to finally see it on your wrist! It's a damn beauty, and it makes me want to go buy one haha. I love blued steel hands.

next watch it the Cocktail time. Similar watch but slightly better movement.

Looks like the new watch is keeping pretty good time so far only ~-1 second the first full day of wearing it. Not to bad for an automatic/mechanical movement from what I understand.

That's really good man. Similar to what my Victorinox is. My Orient Star doesn't do as well though, gets about -20/day, which is still within spec but barely. One of these days I'm going to have it regulated, because it is consistent at least.

Can anyone recommend a decent watch winder that will not break the bank?

I'm not sure how much will break the bank...but I have an Orbita Winder. The thing with winders is that you don't want to overwind the watch and put unnecessary wear. What's good about the Orbita I have is that you can customize it to specific watches....re: dual rotation vs single, and how many revolutions.

Wolf also makes decent programmable winders to prevent over winding.

Anyone familiar with Glezer Kraus jewelers in the Chicago area?

At the suggestion of the guy who sold me my GMT II I sent my Daytona there to be totally redone.

He's certified Rolex repair and I've heard phenomenal things just curious if anyone has had personal experience.

Meant to share these with you all earlier, but am barely getting around to it. Mainly because I just got the Rolex back from Rolex after being all fixed up...

How long did it take? Just got my estimate for my Daytona today and after picking myself up from the near heart attack I approved the work.

They said anywhere between two and four months.

Wish I had that kind of window at work
