Freddie,

I have the tendency to overswing and it's more prevalent with driver and woods but is there sometimes with the irons as well. You have mentioned in other threads about swinging your driver just like the 7i and that you stop your swing when front shoulder meets the chin.

other than feeling the chin hit shoulder are there any other drills you recommend to help keep the swing at parallel or just short of it?

thanks

The chin and shoulder thing is just fine. I found, late in the season and winter lessons, once I got my hands to do the right thing and griped the club properly, overswinging got really hard.

Place a head cover under your right upper arm. If you over swing it will fall out. The goal is too stay connected. Combine this with the left shoulder to the chin and you'll see results

This worked for my son Freddie - good call!
