Those are nice, clean wraps. Not much of a fly fisherman myself, but I've built about a half dozen bass rods, to this point. I'll probably start a couple more as winter projects. Too much time on the water and golf course to build any during the warm months.

Oh my, I must refrain from looking at pictures of beautiful wraps on fly rods, I could break out in paypalaphobia!

Nice work man, what blanks are you using?

Paging capt.dru.

Very nice.

I used to wrap rods long ago until i lost the third bedroom to our second child. Not many fly rods, but a lot of west coast saltwater and big game as well as river salmon/steelhead rods.

Favorite blanks: GLoomis, Lamiglas, Calstar, Seeker… Sage(omg expensive blanks)

Beutiful work there. I used to fly fish and tie my own flies. Have occasionally thought about going back to it. But not enough time or money. I'd love to try making a rod or 2.

Looks great. I fly fished 5 days a week in college, and would go two a days during the spawn. It doesn't get much better than wading in a crystal clear trout stream.

Dont know how I missed this thread. I mainly build inshore saltwater rods, Casting and spinning. Here are a few that I have built.
