Are you a gun owner?

Agreed. I protect mine with a Mossburg Blackwater 500, a Glock 17, and a Sig P226.

I love my guns, in the market for a new sub-compact at the moment. Partial to long guns but I shoot pistols competitively.

The racking of a shotgun pump in the dark says everything words can't.

Yes it does. Id suggest a Springfield Xdm .40 subcompact.

no im not, in case of an intruder, I'll use good ol Chuck Norris karate moves lol

I like this thread a lot, only I think it should be renamed to "List of people not to piss off".

I don't even own A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do... with a gun rack?

Thank you for this p4b. That movie brings me back.... Lol

I took a Springfield for a spin around the course a few weeks back, liked the feel a lot. Thinking something in 9mm though just for concealment purposes...stupid Florida and its no open carry laws.

They have a new .40 xdm subby, you know if youre going to carry you need to at least carry 40 cal. I was just looking at it actually on Springfields site...mmmm gun porn.

I agree, .40 is the smallest round I will carry. If your gonna hit em you may as well hit em hard.

Haha, nothing like good gun porn. I'll check out the site tomorrow from the office. Certainly wouldn't mind keeping in the .40 makes ammo shopping so much easier but its all about placement.

Same here. I had a .45 Para but that thing was a POS. Got rid of it.

While this is true, any well placed shot can kill, Id still rather have man stopping power on my side. Just in case I miss the kill shot.

Yeah I have actually heard alot of not so good things about Para. I have never personally put one through its paces though.

I won't argue that, my dads daily carry is a kimber 1911. 245Gr of leave me alone, I used it in a 1911 match last fall, dang thing felt like an anvil in my hands by the end of the day.

Sure looked nice. Guess if I ever had to pull on someone I could throw it at them since all it did was jam. Tried everything to get it to run right but no matter what it jammed. GONE! Hello Sig P239! But to be honest I havent shot very much because ammo was so scarce for a while. Ive got something like 1500 rounds in my closet I think. And thats just .40 cal.

I looked long and hard at Kimbers too. But I read one too many things in forums about them being temperamental too. Way too much money for a gun that I cant count on when I need it.

They like to be run a little dry, many problems come from people oiling them to death. Rock Island makes a great bare bones 1911, but I've never liked the 1911 anyway, sacrilegious I know but I just don't care for the field stripping hassle and magazine capacity is bleh for my purposes.

I agree there capacity is a little weak but my EMP .40 is the most comfortable gun I have ever carried and its super easy to conceal not to mention that baby is a smooth operator.

I got a Kimber 1911 and looking to get a shotgun sooner or later. Hopefully, sooner.

I want this one, real bad. S&W 1911 http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/...57754_757752_757751_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y

Tap, tap, tap.

I have a CZ 550 FS in 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser, a Remington 1100 Field Gun in 12 Gauge, a Winchester 94/22 and an M96 Swedish Mauser in 6.5 x 55 Swede.

I had a Stoeger Cougar in .40 Smith but sold it recently to help finance the purchase of my new irons. Plus I hadn't fired it in about a year and have no use for a handgun.

I'm currently not a gun owner. But I'm thinking of getting one. There is a pack of coyotes that lives in the woods behind the cornfield behind my house. Everyonce in a while I see them in my yard. I have 2 huge dogs, so when I let them out the coyotes take off. But I hear them howling. So, i may wind up getting one. I was certified to shoot in the navy, so I really considering it!
