Honestly, your post made me go post over there . . . but I too, noticed the low angle shot of the night! I'd be surprised if any guy here that watched it didn't notice it! (It's what we do!) :banana:

The bad thing is no one over there even mentioned it, so somebody had to!

Sally also has an ugly swing. She definitely has some balance issues. I've seen her lose her footing trying to hit the ball - I was going to save that for my "and the ugly" next week since I've been rightfully banned on mentioning camera angles, hehe.

He's definitely the one we love to hate. So, logically, they need to stay around a while. No one else really stands out. For the most part, no one is all that exciting and the golf leaves much to be desired. Right now, my favorite team is Hugo and Camilla.
 
I hate Hugo and Camilla because I'm so jealous... both good looking and both pretty talented
 
haha...gotta have someone we love to hate - someone we can dress up in really bad graphics (puleeeze Harry...no more :)).

Chatted with Michael tonight and he shared a bit about what went on and his chat with David this week. A long interview, but lots of fun. I'll chat with David tomorrow and the regular gang. I can't wait to find out what David thinks of his new 'stardom' :)

Gayle, I can almost guarantee I will never superimpose another head onto a cartoon douche. Almost.



(by the way, in case you aren't familiar with South Park, the "giant douche" was featured in an election parody episode where the South Park kids had to choose a new mascot and, because of some chicanery, their only choices were a Giant Douche vs. a Turd Sandwich. It's a bit of a classic.)

Alright, I just watched the replay of the episode. (There was kinda something else on last night.)

Good:

I love Michael and Sherri. They have such good attitudes! If I could take anyone on a foursome, it would be them. That's what golf is about, to me.

Bad:

I got a good laugh when Stina said, "Haymes has an unorthodox backswing, but we've seen him hit some brilliant shots." ...Then he proceeded to put it in the beach.

Ugly:

I considered commenting on Amber's fugly lounge pants, but after they filmed up her skirt, I'd consider them too! :angel: No, actually who I found even more passive-aggressive than David was Casey. I was really turned off when he sat there and said, "first Rachel didn't adjust, and again she failed to adjust, she just can't do it on the fly...but I'm not mad at her..." and poor Rachel had to sit thru it then mouth, "yes he is."

The interviews played on the show should really have been done with individuals and not couples. David cut his off so we didn't see Sally's answer. If Rachel got up and walked away (which I probably would have) we'd consider her short-tempered, too.

(Sorry if my quotes aren't dead accurate, they're to the best of my memory.)
 
What's with David calling Sally "honey", "baby" etc. They aren't a couple are they? He is a tosser(thanks Razaar) if ever there was one.
I still can't figure out how they insulted his professionalism. He has yet to act professional.
 
I didn't get to watch it last night. Went to the Canucks/Predators hockey game....and of course, the 'nucks' won 4-0!

Spoke to both Sally and David today - very obvious...they do not get along at all. They started off as semi-business buddies (both long drive champions who knew each other "sort of" on the LD tour), but they figured out pretty quickly on BB that they are not compatible.

I wonder if they are eliminated next week. Maybe that would put Sally out of her misery :)

I'm with you GG. But I do feel a little sorry for Sally. I think she probably would have been a little more subdued in the first few episodes if she had a different partner. Plus, she is playing terribly.

David is an attention *****. My dad always told me that "people who are good don't have to tell people how good they are or do things other than just performing well in order to make sure they are the center of attention." David is always doing stuff to make sure he is the center of attention. Oh, and if he had bothered to watch Big Break:Ka'anapali, he would have know that he couldn't improve his lie in the fade/draw wall challenge.

no, but with couples, i think they have to stretch this thing out, other wise there'd only be 1/2 dozen shows.

I'm having trouble getting used to that too. Kind of annoying.
 
Don't forget our favorite show with our favorite golfer dude is on tonight. A little over an hour for me.
