Big Break X - Michigan: The good, the bad and the ugly

Yeah, the wrong people went home tonight. But like I said you gotta have a team that you want to hate and that team will probably make it a while on the show.
 
Sure was a shock to me to see Dave and Sally beat out Sherri and Michael in the elmination.

And Casey and Rachel dodged a huge bullet when Dave and Sally couldn't make a putt.
The animosity was so bad, I thought they might start swinging clubs at each other.

I talked to Michael tonight and he shared a few things about the Sally and Dave tragedy. I can't help but think that the drama between those two has to be affecting the other teams. I think it may have affected Michael and Sherri.

What do you think?

i sure saw a lot of bad shots, a lot. also, the drama this Dave guy is totally dominating the show, and it's pretty much ruining it. i think the show's producers should steer away from this "angle", it's getting silly.

does anybody actually believe Dave deliberately hit his shot into the trees, because he said he did? i just don't think so!

Right. Do you remember the commercial breaks from the show before last (the one with the big divot incident) - EVERY commercial break from the first one on would say "coming up on the Big Break" and would preview that scene. I waited the whole dang show and it happened in the last 8 minutes. Really, excessive previewing - does nothing else interesting happen on the show worth giving a preview of?

I know what you mean... I was dying for that scene to happen and had to trudge through a lot of the show filler. The show is interesting this year but I'm not a massive fan of the coed teams. I didn't like the format from last night with the alternate shot. It was obvious that if both players hit a good shot that the opposing team was going to use the female drive, simply because she is shorter.

I didn't appear that they were using different tee's... which didn't make any sense to me.
 
I knew it wasn't going to happen, but I wanted Sally to putt that ball clear off the green. Too much at stake to be vindictive, but it sure would have been cool to see Dave's reaction.

These big boys love to talk! Wait until you hear David's interview. It is 24 minutes long and full of great sound bites. I'll give you a hint - his pet name for Sally is "Shankerella".

I'll have it up on the blog a bit later today along with Sally's and hopefully Haymes.

He's not my favorite, but I'm still gonna look at the vids. They just bring a whole new perspective to everything. I've missed a few already, so I have some catching up to do.
 
this guy is hillarious... "shankarella"

I feel that he sort of plays his role but this interview is more tame than I actually expected to be. He seems to be honest but I am not sure where he actually plans on doing about his partner.
 
I listened to all of Sally's interview. It seemed like she wanted to say so much more but couldn't because there is still shows to air! I could just picture her biting her lip not to say what she really wanted. The next interview should be even better. I started listening to David's but dinner was ready and I never got back to it. Still plan to but 27 minutes? Seems a little long.
 
he actually talks a lot of golf... only about 2-3 minutes of the interview are juicy parts about members of the show. he talked a lot about other peoples games with nothing but compliments to go around.
 
I just listened to most of Darth David's interview, I can't get a read on this guy. Like DD said he had a lot of compliments for other people, at the same time he still comes across as a total tool on the show. I just wonder if as he is watching this on GC he realizes how much he played up to the cameras or is it just his personality.
 
You know...you and I all have heard the same interviews. But I am starting to think that David is just a little bit embarrassed by his behavior and wants to still come across as the "long drive guy" who "Hits it hard - that's what we do!" but inside, I think he is actually someone who would do anything for you if you needed something.

It's kind of wierd. But he's a softy in some ways and a hard ball in others. I think it is that rollercoaster that has everyone off balance.

Did anyone notice that every time they showed Camila sitting on the bench, she was playing with hair - either hers or Hugo's?
