Went to foxwoods for the first time for a day trip. I played poker for the first time in a casino and for the first time in over 3 years. I walked away plus $273. Spent the rest of the afternoon at the bar. Fun afternoon.

HHJJ is the fact that we are leaving the house tomorrow morning for vacation. This journey does not include golf, but does include a family wedding in Pennsylvania, a few days in Atlantic City, then taking the kids to the Aquarium in Baltimore and then on to the National Zoo and Smithsonian in DC.

Email lottery notification today; and 4 tickets to Mumford & Sons in Forest Hills, Queens, NY on 8/28 on their way.

1st time seeing them, and hear they are great in concert.

Awesome! Sounds like a great vacation. Enjoy the Zoo and Smithsonian, if you have time there are so many other great museums and monuments to see on the Mall. Let me know if you need some help navigating as it can be a little confusing.

Always wanted to go to the Smithsonian. So many cool things.

I appreciate the offer Crest. My wife and I love DC, but it's the first time the kids (5 and 3) have been so we're gearing the couple of days around what we think they will find interesting..so we're going to hit Natural History and Air and Space this time, and probably do some monuments if there is spare time. I've learned from previous visits to stay out in the surrounding area and take the Metro in to avoid trying to navigate or park.

Donne you'll be in my neck of the woods. Hope you have a good time. The spy museum is always a good stop.

You got it. Yeah it sounds like you are an expert actually! Bring water but I am sure that already had that planned. You picked 2 great museums to go to. There is also the National Museum of American History is a great place to check out if you have some extra time, well worth it and the kids should enjoy it as well.

Not 30 seconds before you posted that, the thought crossed my mind that I was going to be in Perry's hometown, but we're doing nothing more than a stop through to hit the Aquarium, so I don't guess I'll get to catch you or the adorable little Perry-ette on this go round.

We went to the American History the last time my wife and I were in town and really liked it too.

My wife is pumped for this concert, I think she asked everyone we know to sign up for the lottery. She was the one who got the first email though.

Playing golf today with MarcH, KellyBo, & her two brothers Ronnie & Steve. Later this evening, we are heading to Athens, Ga. for a cookout at KB's other son's house. It should make for a hhjj kind of day :thumb:

Have fun Donne, I have been to each of those places and really would like to make a return visit to each. The National Zoo was with my family when I was a kid and I really cherish those memories. I am sure the kids will always remember this trip.

Slowly but surely bringing an old customer back into the fold. Picking up a few orders here and then. They keep getting bigger.

Finding a swimming pool after a 90* round of 18 is the best. So refreshing.

Tomorrow is my last day In my current position, I'm gonna miss parts of it, one of the greatest satisfactions I had was when a customer would bring in his piece of equipment and I was able to fix it and get them going, I loved fixing it and I loved satisfying the customer.

But I am absolutely thrilled to be going into the position I am now.

There's a second part to this, yesterday I was running around getting parts for myself when I started to help out the parts department, (they've been extremely shorthanded and just swamped) and after I helped the customers and gave them some time to get caught up the parts manager turned around and offered me a job, that was awesome but I came to the realization tonight, that I could probably do any job in the company at our location and that was just awesome to.

Good day.
