Looking to go with a friend next weekend to Vegas and we thought we would drag our clubs out. What a shock to see the rates these places are charging. Perhaps I'm spoiled that an average round with cart here is $50-60. Found Revere for $130 which seems like the best deal. I absolutely love the TPC course there but not at $300! It has tripled since I played it last.

There are a couple Vegas area guys around here, maybe @WLG1952 would have some suggestions on more affordable courses.

Haha. Welcome to Vegas now. Golf deals are no more. Even Bali Hai charges $250+ on most days.

Welcome to PHX/Scottsdale.

It's $359 to play TPC Scottsdale Stadium this weekend. $240 to play Troon North.

That is crazy! Just two years ago TPC was $175…granted that was October but still

Man I’m jealous. That’s on the top of my list to play
I play it at least once per year but usually 2 or 3. I have a 2 day tournament out there June 2 and 3 - the heat stroke classic. First day is a practice round and 2nd is an 18 team blind draw stableford.

I woudl argue that October should fetch a higher price than May. that's post overseed bliss golf. this is the start of the inferno season in Vegas.

I went to Scottsdale last year and was shocked how much everything was. Luckily we were there in the summer and WeKoPa was a great deal. TPC Scottsdale was still over $300

It is sad to me that golf courses are pricing themselves out of relevance, at least in my world.

At some point the 'just do it' camp gets a fat eyeroll when the price is more than double what common sense would suggest it should be.

Vegas is a resort destination town where people go to Blow LARGE sums of cash. It makes perfect sense that the courses would get whatever they can get even if I agree that it's rediculos.

It's Vegas Baby!!!

Apparently there are plenty of people still willing to shell out that kind of money to play golf, I'm just not one of them. It won't change until their tee sheets aren't filling up and they're losing money on an empty course.

It's wild to me that pricing like that is 'funny money' to so many of those golfers... and you're absolutely right.

Will be very interesting to see how these courses react if it ever come back down to earth.

Unfortunately this is the norm here in Vegas now. 4 or 5 courses have closed, some are just weeds and dirt and others have been or are being turned into affordable housing. No new courses are being built that I have heard about, most likely due to water restrictions. We still have lots of people moving here. Even getting a decent tee time two weeks out is tough for our group. I bet a visitor would have a tough time finding sub $150 tee times even on a course that was $75 a few years ago.

Paiute is 2 bills plus. Not that slight bargain I thought it might be.

Idk. Everything in Vegas has gone up. I have not golfed in Vegas in quite a while now. Not since 2018

If you have transportation, you might try calling the Chamira Course in Henderson.

Also try the old Desert Rose course on the east side of Vegas. It's been renamed as "The Club @ Sunrise......." or something.

Anyone know the name of the Muni located near Washington, and Decatur?

The two courses in Boulder City are excellent courses, and could be worth a phone call. Just not sure what non locals pay there.

Good luck in you search.

Tera and I were thinking of going out there to golf for my birthday. Maybe not anymore😳

Holy Crap. I was going to suggest Arroyo or Sienna since I use to play those for about $75. They are even pushing $200!

The crazy thing is Shadow tee times are now up to $1000/round and they still sellout. Of course there are only a foursome every 30 min but let that sync In - $1k for a round of golf and demand still outstrips supply.

Remember when we all wanted to grow the game…

It’s everywhere! Even Branson, which use to be an affordable golf Mecca pushes the envelope of affordability for golf.

As a local I paid $82 at sienna about 6 weeks ago. Never again course is in horrible shape, over watered fairways that were painted green.

That’s ashamed. I loved Arroyo and Sienna. My casino host lived on one of the two so we use to play both quite a bit when we could not get onto shadow creek.

Wow. That is a lot of cash for a round of golf!!
