Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 158. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Terry Koehler from Edison Golf joins the show, in a fascinating conversation about short game, wedges and more.

It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Terry Koehler talk about the new Edison 2.0 Wedges. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Terry Koehler goes Off Course.

Episode 158 is here and Dan and Jason Terry Koehler discuss the following topics.

Mass in the Right Place = Looking Different is Good
Moving Weight vs Hollow Body vs Cavity Back
Wedges and Dynamic Loft
The Right Club for Each Shot
Mass Location and Weighting
And so much more

You can listen to the show right here, Apple Podcasts or anywhere you do your listening and downloading from. Search for the Hackers Paradise and make sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode. After listening, come back over and drop us a note below on what you agree and/or disagree with from the episode. If you get a chance, drop us a review wherever you listen from and let others know what you think of the show and/or channel.

sounds like it will be fun to dig into the meat of this one

Excited to listen to this one!

15 minutes in and my mind is blown with all this scientific, math and logic used by Mr. Koehler.

Golfers overthink wedge grind...no never, we never overthink anything :p

Looking forward to listening to this one.

Heading out for golf soon, will definitely tune in later!

We have been having fun testing out that weighting in the Edison 2.0 @Canadan haha, the weighting that is real high.

You caught that comment in the thread?

it's been hilarious watching you dudes test high on the face.
It was a request from our friend @Scooby45 so I had to give the man what he wanted.

But when looking at the wear pattern after hitting some various shots, it is amazing to see that I'm in the B to low C range. And this is exactly where Terry put the weight to help us average golfers on the course.

Math and logic on a golf pod? Not sure I can do it? 😂

Tuning in now!

I just got to a comment from Terry about why golfers hit wedges "too high" and the light bulb went off as to a potential reason why I feel I hit wedges (full swing) better than my irons.

Im exactly the opposite from his description. While its' a swing fault, I battle keeping my hands / arms behind my body. My 54 deg with a 20g heavier shaft is my most consistent club. I wonder if all that mass is slowing my hands arms just enough to "fix" my fault tendencies.

reading this comment makes me want to fire it up

Will definitely listen either tonight or this weekend. Terry is very passionate about wedges and the game and will be a fun and informative listen.

I'm loving the episode so far! But I can't get on board with calling it a P-club

Man, this was a great listen and now I have the Edison wedges back in my mind. Everything he says makes total sense.

I love it. It's like a total refusal to relate it to a wedge.

Just like I refuse to relate disc and golf together lmao
