I know this is early, but I felt the need to bítch about the crappy coverage again. A major deserves better:

Jul 30 10:00-11:59 AM ET TNT

Aug 01 1:30-3:00 PM ET ABC
Aug 02 1:00-3:00 PM ET ABC

No more than two hours for any round, and only 1½ hours for the third round. Once again, we will have nothing but random shots of putting and commercials.

I would love more coverage Harry. I think the original plan was to give more. However the ratings the last 2 majors have been abysmal and I am not sure ABC was willing to do it. The best part is we get the great TNT coverage again.

Anna Rawson tweeted today that she Monday qualified for the British.

(I didn't know the Women's British had Monday qualifying.)

I guess this sort of makes up for not having LPGA golf of any description all year round.

Nike does a nice job with their layouts. I think it will be interesting to see what Wie’s Sunday outfit actually looks like. At least I hope we get a chance to see it.

It sounds like the weather is expected to be horrible this weekend. Could make for a very, very tough 4 days.

I like Michelle's overall look better, but have to say that I personally love adidas skirts.

There are some high numbers going up early. I think that with this kind of weather, any player hovering around that +5 mark has a shot going into the weekend. I picked Suzann Pettersen to win this major, with Michelle Wie putting up a top 5 to solidify her place on the Solheim Cup Team.
