Great video Freddie. I've always heard that on a downhill lie it's effectively going to deloft the club so you can go with a higher lofted club and still hit the intended distance, so I'm curious why if a 6 iron normally worked you would go with a 5 iron? Not questioning the results, just trying to understand your advice vs what I've heard in the past.
Thi will be one of holes played in the king and is only 3 months old. The green has sneaky breaks. I miss read the first putt and had a 10' back up the hill for par. I'll always take a putt over a chip any day
:act-up:Good tips.,..also maybe buy a utility club. Easier and more forgiving than a long iron...
What hole # is it Freddie and if you're hitting your 2nd shot with a 5i, it must be a pretty long par 4 :bulgy-eyes:
It's #11 on the National, brand new hole that plays 440 from the blue and I was hitting into a nice breeze. The sun was in my eyes and I missed it on the heel all while a band played in my back swing
I will get this done for you.
