What do you specialize in?

It varies. Sometimes my tee ball is great, sometimes my irons are spot on, sometimes I'll have 30 putts. But never all three at the same time.

I am a master of the Flop Shot! I love doing it and guys in the group say "How the (bleep) do you do that?" :clapp: Sometimes I may screw it up but 90% of the time, it is performed flawlessly! If I short side myself, I don't worry ... I love playing that shot! :act-up:
Maybe it your wedge play? Chipping, pitching, punching, bunker, add spin, let it roll. No lie is safe for you.
Hahaha yes! Funnest shot in golf around the greens!
I was 6 over coming into 18 yesterday, and missed my approach shot 35 feet right of the green ..
flopped a 60* next to the hole and it released a bit and went in! :clapp: WoW!
My 2 partners just shook they're heads lol! Hey! They don't call me "Chip Star" for nothin you know! :golf:

I seem to specialize in making a bogey immediately after dropping a birdie :(

sent without the boss's knowledge...

Short game for sure. I am always confident I can put a good score on the card because I know once i get a wedge or putter in my hand I am going to get home.

Flop shots are incredibly fun. Like you said, it's one of those shots where a lot of people ask how do you do that?

I specialize in throwing balls into water hazards. Got a ball that has decided it no longer wants to do as it should? Allow me to toss this ball into a water hazard for you. I am a pro. Underhand, sidearm, over the shoulder.... I specialize in every way possible of throwing a ball into water.

Beard growing.

My long clubs are the area I'm best at. That's isn't saying much.

Driver for sure. If my driver is off my whole round will be

The left handed slice is my specialty.

Green side bunkers. I may not make the putt all of the time, but I tend to give myself a decent chance of getting up and down most of the time.

I feel like I am really good from 80-120 yards away. Other than that, I am very hit or miss.

Wish more people practiced it .. it's a lot easier than it looks when you start controlling the distance.
I just look at it this way, my best "chip-shot" is better than my worst putt .. lol.
If it doesn't go in .. and quite honestly, I wasn't expecting that shot to go in yesterday on 18, but heyyy .. if it isn't in .. it is close ..
Now if I could just hit it 300 yards! :beauty:

I would say I specialize in scrambling. I don't hit a ton of fairways or greens but I tend to get myself out of trouble.

Greenside chipping - probably because I practice it the most...

... all winter in my living room.

I can drive and hit woods pretty well, and I'm good with hybrids and most irons, but weak in getting in close and over all putting. I hit a lot of GIR but leave myself with too many long putts, some of which turn into 3 putts now and then.

Not really a specialist but I'm a long iron guy, I love my 2,3,4 and 5 irons and I practice hitting them often. I'm almost as accurate with my long irons as I am with my mid irons. I'm a specialist in nothing though I hit crappy shots like everyone else.

For me it is putting I am generally confident and believe I will be successful more often than not which is NOT how I feel about any other aspect of my game.

Can't say I've mastered anything. I have days when certain parts of my game are on. I am pretty good with my 52 and 58. My short game when I was younger was outstanding, but it's nowhere near where it used it to be. I would love to get it there again.

I mentioned this in another thread...But the truth is this, There is only 1 area of my game that I can brag on, And when I say brag I honestly mean that I will put up this skill against any Pro on tour any day of the week.....My Bunker play....It's the only part of my game that has remained an absolute constant for over 20 year's.
When I first started playing I hit more bunker's than anyone you could name..Green side, Fairway, The next Hole...It didn't matter and I really REALLY sucked at getting out...I'm talking 6-7 strokes to get out.
I even considered quitting golf so it came down to this either give up a game I had fallen in love with or learn to master the bunker's.
Now I'm not going to lie and say it happened over night or even over a few year's but in fact took me close to 10 year's to actually what I call Master the Bunker's.
I may miss the 2 foot tap in but I'm gonna be on the dance floor.
I can spin it, One hop stop, Release it, Fly it, pitch it, Punch it, hit it low, or get it up high.
So if you ever play with me you may say, " Man this dude suck's" But you will also say.." Man he is one of the best sand player's i have EVER seen.
Now if only the rest of my game was that good
