I've heard mixed results about them, but both of my wedges are older and are definitely in "playing" shape so I figured I'd give the tool a shot to see what results I get.

yea let me know man, they're not that pricey so wouldn't hurt bad if it doesn't work good. My grooves are just getting nicks in them from the rocks in the sand i imagine when I hit the ball.

What golf stuff did you buy today?

Just paid the green fees for Olde Stonewall.
 
I lost my putter headcover the other day, so went to golf galaxy. They were having the buy 2 maxfli accessories get 1 free. Also if you spend $25 you got a $10 rebate from the rewards program. So I bought a putter headcover, a switchblade pitch fix, and a ball alignment marker then went and grabbed so tees so make it to $25.
 
90 minute lesson at the Jim McLean golf school tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

Odyssey white ice #9. I do t think it will knock out my current putter but I thought it would be fun to play around with. Payed $45 but idk if that's a good price.

I went into my local shop today and asked my rep who previously fitted me about my bag setup. We concluded that based on my distances (or lack thereof) that I could return my 58* RTX 2.0, have my 54* RTX 2.0 bent to 55*, and then fill the top end of my bag with an XR Pro 3 Deep and XR 4W, so I did.
 
Bought a oban devotion 65 04 to put in the xr driver. The numbers and feel I was getting on a monitor was ridiculous. Will be a fun experiment

Love the feel of the Oban Devotion 6 series shaft! Alas, it just didn't fit my swing so I had to let it go. Great shaft though!
