I have an acquaintance who's selling these. If I'm not mistaken, these are circa 2011. Since I will have no opportunity to try these on the range, I will defer to the experts. Are these any good? How would they compare to my current irons? (See signature).

I still have a set of these. Love these Irons. Had them for a few years now and don't think I will be getting rid of them anytime soon.

There are TONS of really in depth reviews on THP of both the irons from the J40 line. In fact more THPers had them in play than just about anywhere else due to multiple years in the Morgan Cup.

Thanks. I did a search on them on this site yesterday and I did find a review by a guest reviewer, but not the forum.

I've owned this set 4 times, still one of the best iron sets I have ever gamed.

The DPCs have a bit of a cult following, and I still believe they were an iron ahead of their time. With the right swing, I think you'll have a blast with them.

I gamed the DPCs for a season. Beautiful iron. The best feeling iron I've hit. They just were a little too much club for me. I'm not sure they'd be materially different from your 52s.

one of my favorite iron sets ever. Played them all last year until I finally retired them.

I always somehow manage to get another set. Have had 5 sets of CBs and 2 sets of the DPCs pictured. Incredibly forgiving for a players iron. The DPC are very forgiving if your miss is lateral on the face.

I have the J40 DPC & J40 CB's and absolutely love both sets.
