Why is it a joke?
Nick Dunlap won both the USGA Junior and USGA Amateur, an accomplishment only one other player (Tiger) has done. My guess is that when Dunlap plays a full year schedule of Tour golf he will be a top 25 world ranking points player.
 
His first two tournaments as a pro and he is almost dead last. That just goes to show what a huge leap it is. I believe his highest finish is around 35th so far. Im pulling for him.
