TT's are really great looking cars!

Agreed...especially since the MK1's can be had for reasonable prices now. This one has some minor cosmetic flaws, but nothing a 3M wrap cant hide. Interior is immaculate, and for a 2002 Quattro only has 94K on it. Love driving it, and will look to upgrade to maybe a MK2 in the future if I can find one at the right price.

Needed a second car and looked at several different makes/models. Nothing could match the value/performance of this 2015 GTI SE.

I used to own a 2012 (wish I still owned) and disappointed that the Mk7 only offers plaid seats in the base model and navigation in the Autobahn. My 2012 had the plaid seats and navigation.

New Jetta coming out. Looks fun. Cheaper than the current Jetta.

Its a shame they keep trimming the engine back to hit a price point. It's a shame when you can get a 174hp 2.0Tin the Beetle but the Jetta is running a 147hp 1.4T

Agreed....the jetta is a car I wont even consider anymore, but they had some real nice MKV's 10 years ago.

I love my 2016 Jetta. Fun to drive and great MPG's. I've got over 40k miles on it and going strong. I'll be interested to see the new one in person.

Anybody have a VAG-COM tool they recommend or I am good just grabbing one off amazon?

The GLI will have the 2.0T again though.
This is definitely a cost savings measure with their MQB system and new business model.
I know 147 HP is lacking but 184 lb-ft of torque seems pretty nice to have around town.

This is one car I'm very curious about and look forward to test driving.

*I've worked with Porsche Consulting and the company that helped VW with their MQB platform.
It's pretty interesting knowing that VWs are now built like Audis...or Audis are built like VWs haha

Anyone buy the Passat GT yet?

I saw one the other day when my Touareg was in for an oil change. REALLY sharp looking in person!

They had a silver one, if it was white with a black interior it might have been in my driveway.

Bought a 2009 Rabbit a few weeks ago when my Mustang became too problematic to retain. My third VW since 2005. Forgot how pleasant they are to drive.

Not until real leather interior is available.

Brother, a linebacker can not fit in a VW

Finally test drove the Passat GT, but decided to buy this instead:

Another summer of car stuff done. More planned for next year. Really had no time to get anything done to it this year.

Ended up getting a new 2018 Golf SE. Love how VW has upped their game. The cabin feels fresh with nice accents, the tech part of the car is actually really really nice and useful. I use Android Auto and love it, no more need of a navigation system.

The actual car itself drive great, has way more zip than expected, and really is has a nice silenced cabin. And the room, holy ****....plenty of room in this car. I will tell you this, I just went and bought a new 70 inch TV and the box nearly fit in. Just a few CM's from getting the hatch closed. That's laying flat too, no sideways Jerry rigging. Any ways, got a steal on it as it was the last of the 18' models. Only thing I wished it had was a dsg gearbox instead of triptronic.
