Average Drive? Goals? Max?

6'3 215 lbs 29 years old.
Average drive: 285-290 yds
Longest drive: 419 yds recorded by GPS
I am happy with my distance but I would like to be a little more consistent when it comes to working the ball left to right which is hard for me to do.

6'2" 260 27.
Avg: 250

I'd love to get above 280. Just not flexible/strong enough.

419 is impressive. I think I hit one that far if you include the 200 yard roll down the cart path.

so far looks like people are being truthful, nice to see that on line.

240 average carry, would like to hit 250-255. every once in awhile I get to 255-260, but not as often as I like.

No cart path on that one but it was down hill on a hot day with a draw.

450 yards.....but I live in Texas where carry is about 100 yards and roll is the other 350 yards.

My driving is a total mess right now so I have no idea what my average is at the moment. It's coming around though so hopefully in a couple months here I'll be able to give an answer haha.

6'2 260. 2014 average was 272. When I pull out the driver my expectation is 260 carry, if it rolls it rolls (I hit it high so usually doesn't roll far)

2015 goals are more fairways, distance is good enough.

Carry typically around 260-265, total 265-275...I don't get a ton of roll right now. Max I'm usually 275-280 when I catch it right. The "ideal" numbers for my swing speed should put me around 290 carry based on the B-fit numbers, so I know I'm leaving a lot out there because of lack of contact accuracy, so my goal would be to push it towards at least 275/280 average carry this year with more roll out as well. Gotta get my angle of attack better too.

Average carry is around 230. Goal is to add 10 yards to that. Have hit a few over 300 on hard downhill fairways. I am 5'8", 160 lbs and 50 years old.

According to Arccos:

  • Std. Deviation± 33 yds

  • Fairways Left23.3%
  • Fairways Right26.7%

Don't know but not far enough and definitely not accurate enough

Average carry was around 270, looking for 8 years more this year plus added roll. Hoping to keep it consistant and in the short grass most of the time.

My average carry is around 220-230. Add 10 to 15 with some roll. I'd like to avg a 250 carry someday.

I'm 26, 5'11" and 185 lbs

Average Drive? Goals? Max?

I'm 5'10" and about 160. 26 years old.

Average carry is around 210.

Not sure on longest drive ever but I've had some nice cart path bounces lol.

230 carry would be fine by me.

I probably average around 240 because I'm so inconsistent. I can bang a few out there around 300 when I'm doing my blind squirrel impression. I'm 5'11 and 195lbs..

Ave carry is 240-250. I usually get a drive in the 300 yd neighborhood once per round. Longest drive this year was 353 yds. I think it must have hit a sprinkler head or something.
I want 270 yds carry.
Solution - start doing yoga.

Ave carry is 230ish. With roll it 240 to 260 depending on fairway conditions.
260 is the longest you'll usual ever see out of me, and only with firm fairways.

carry ave- 225-235
I would like about 10 more yards of carry but I'm not sure how to get it other than working on my flexibility!

Average carry is 245-255. I've hit a few in the 310-320 range. My goal this year is to consistently hit fairways with driver off the tee. 250 yards is just fine if I'm in the fairway. I lost sooooooooooo many shots off the tee with driver the past few years. I'm 32.

6', 220, age: nearly eligible for the senior tour (ouch, that hurt)

I don't know true averages - the stinkers bring the numbers way down. When I step to the tee in cold-winter months I expect to carry the ball 220ish. In warm weather months, 235ish. Longest...meh, there's been some wind aided down hill crazy stuff. I'd love to increase my average carry by 15 yards.

I'm 6' / 180 Lbs / 57 years old

I have too much variance in my driver. Carry ranges from 230-280 and FW% sub 50. As my 3W carry is relatively reliable 245/235 (tee/deck) I usually only pull driver on wide fairways where I need the distance (really long P4 and reachable P5).

Goal for 2015 is to reduce the variance with driver (length and direction) so I can get my reliable carry to 260 and FW% up to 60.

Had a lesson with a top teaching pro and he identified that I needed to get stiffer shaft on my driver so I am doing that to see if it improves my driver reliability. Also doing a driver fitting when my leg heals.

200 to 220 avg, drove par 4 348 yards no cart path. Was hitting some drives over 300 yards sometimes until age 52. After age 55 lost a lot of distance. 5 feet 8 inches, 207 pounds, 69 years old. Coming back from injuries, long lay off, need to lose at least 17 pounds. Expect to increase to 230-240 area with practice, that's if no other injuries.

49 yrs old
5'10" 185 lbs
Avg: 250-260
Accuracy: 51%
Longest: 310 yds

Goals:
Avg: 275 yds
Accuracy: 70%

With my age I'm not sure if gaining an additional 15 yds is realistic. I do feel there is something in my mechanics that is holding me back especially from a consistency standpoint as I do hit some drives 275, but not near as consistently as I want. Accuracy, on the other hand has nothing to do with my age, this, to me is a mental issue as my tempo can get outta wack at times. Also I would like to have a driver fitting done this year to see what head/shaft might work better for my swing.
