Just got back into playing golf after 12 years away from nagging back injuries. Grew up in New England and moved to NC about 8 years ago. Love playing just hard when you can’t play like you used to. Anyone in the Greensboro NC area want to play please reach out to me.

I’m just amazed how much the technology has changed. I can’t hit my old mizuno irons anymore blades are no good for me now. I went to look at new clubs and wow I was overwhelmed. Ended up getting fitted for a set of mizuno jp923 irons, Cleveland zip core wedge and new ping g430 driver.

Welcome back to golf. I feel your disappointment for not playing for a long time. Been there done that.

My time away (10 years) was due to volunteer work, and no golf courses with in decent driving time.

Once I did start back , covid hit. Then cataracts surgery, secondary cataracts lazer repairs, then a stint in ICU getting my last rights read while sedated. I fooled the doctors, and woke up. Then 4 months of rehab.

I just started actually playing decent golf again about 45 days ago.

Just go play, and have fun. You only live once.
