Best Rock Album of All Time from Start to Finish?

RS saidsaid/rranked 'nevermind' was the best album of all time. Great album but not greatest all time imo.

Someone mentioned The Allman Brothers - At Fillmore East, but that's a live album. For a studio album, great start to finish, I'd say Brothers and Sisters. Some might say Eat A Peach, great album, but I honestly don't think it is as strong start to finish.

All over the place...

Pink Floyd -* Dark side, The Wall, Wish you were here
Zeppelin - IV
*Rush - 2112
Tool - lateralus
Beatles - Abbey road / *Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Sublime - Sublime
Pearl jam - 10
*Weezer - blue album
*Nirvana - nevermind

Some people have low standards. Some albums mentioned are very good, but...."bbest from start to finish" good? I don't think so. I think a few are in the convo.

Sgt. Peppers.
Wish you were Here
Purple Rain

A few others

I am kind of a late 70s to 80s alternative guy.
Elvis Costello My AIM is True
Joe Jackson Look Sharp
The Clash London Calling
Davis Bowie Changes
Violent Femmes
The Police Outlandos D’Amour

In my younger days this topic was a good ice breaker in a bar. If you are stranded on a desert island and can only bring 5 albums/CDs what are they. No greatest hits. It was a good way to talk about something different and figure out if you could go to a concert together.

Yes to every one of those!
Although I think I prefer Armed Forces over My Aim is True

Lithium on Sirius/XM is my favorite thing in the world.

It's funny that I listen to this channel because I drove my 2 sons to/from school & let them pick the music - the older one got into Tool, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, etc. in a big way & the younger one followed his lead. I came to really appreciate so much of this genre. Quality stuff!

Whitesnake Slide it in has to be way up the list. Every song is good in that album

Motley Crue Theater if pain was top notch as well

Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, still you forget
Now, you're a rock ’n' roll suicide
