Cereal Debate: Shredded Wheat

I grew up on the shredded wheat bundles. I love them! I wet them with milk first - not a ton but enough to soften, and then i sprinkle my own sugar over top of it.

That and rice Chex are my favs

Rice Chex are wonderful. I miss Krispix, but these are probably about as close as you can get to them.

Shredded wheat is awful. Even the frosted ones are only okay. I’d rather find a better cereal called literally anything.

Krispix was Crispy times 2! and wasn't bad.

shredded wheat needs honey. Lots of it. And or granulated sugar. Lots of it.

To me it’s like what we often say about equipment - there are so many great options available to us, so why settle? I would eat shredded if I had to, but why?

Shredded wheat - plain - is lame. Frosted is good, mixed with a bunch of fresh fruit is good too.

So many good memories in here of the old one big log of shredded wheat. Like others, my grandma would eat this. I love the frosted mini wheats even just by the handful without milk. Very underrated cereal.
