Club Testing / Fitting

We also threw in a TP5X and ProV1X just to help get spin up on the irons. It helped gain a few hundred so I could game the Xs but my driver wouldn't like them I bet.
Could easily tweak the driver though I’d bet.

The modus felt a little whippy but or I'm getting stronger. * my new route to work passes by a gym, I don't go inside though.

AMT Reee.... (not blue color).
I didn't hate it and I could game it.

Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner. Tensei Blue FTW.
Slap these in a T150 and off I go.

The T100s felt good but man the mishits. Ouch
The T150 felt good and I could go out and play them now.

*However, the Apex Pros still in the lead, for me.
Do you have the number break down on thise 150/tensei combo. Those and the pros just look great.

Driver time. *driver swing was off a bit. I was annoyed but still hit some anyway.

tsr2 vs gamer.PNG

Gamer is the Rogue St Max D 9 (set at -1/D)
TSR2 I thought would be the winner since I hit everywhere except the middle of the face but that got swapped out for the TSR3 pretty quick.

I did not have my best driver swing over all but did manage a few good one.
I was surprised at some of the mishits that I thought were garbage but would still keep me in play. Short and straightish over long and gone. *However, I have been known to hit some good shots out of the woods with a small window.

Better hits of the day with the driver were these two.

TSR3 head would win out over the TSR2 head but I have hit my gamer (Max D) just as good too. Just not that day.

Am I wrong to say at those club speeds with driver you would want spin higher, maybe around 2500?

i added more club data to previous posts.

that is a question for someone more experienced than I.

driver swing was a bit off on March 9.

So far I think the leaders are:

Irons:
Apex Pro 24 w/ MMT 95s
T150 w/ Tensei Blue

Driver:
Rogue St Max D (gamer) *Ai Smoke TD head was pretty good too though.
TSR3 w/ HZRD Black

Actually I didn’t notice the AoA. Between that and your ball speed you only need to be around 2000-2100. Those TSRs are pretty good!

Cobra and Mizuno are up next.

Callaway is up first.

7i Shoot out
Apex Pro 21 (gamer) vs Apex Pro 24 vs Ai Smoke

I warmed up with wedges or you can take it as... I hit my 7i anywhere from 30-160 yards. *I take that back, I can definitely chunk a 7i.

I went in fully expecting to see the Ai Max head win out. I came out with the Ai TD being able to get the spin down a little bit more to edge out the Ai Max. The Ai TD was able to get my ball speed up and the good hits were great, but the misses, awful. I still think the Ai Max / Max D or my current Rogue Max D head is what should stay in the bag.

I did like the Denali shaft and I could easily put that in play against the Ventus Red.
The TR Red, I could not tell much of a difference vs the Ventus Red, but that could just be me.
I was looking to pick up a Used Rogue Max (such a great forgiving head), but luckily won the Cobra AeroJet here... what a fantastic Driver. You can't go wrong with the Rogue

Cobra was a 30 min session so I hit some irons. It was also on Foresight and the report did not send correctly but luckily I have some screen shots of data.

Any guesses on which cobra 7i head wins in the shootout?

Cobra irons are up next.
Current iron shaft is MMT95s and we used the KBS TGI 85S for testing.

* the outliners were when the fitter asked if I could hit a cut or draw. I said draw is easier for me. Cut gets iffy.

The KBS TGI 85s shaft I thought was going to feel light and whippy but it felt pretty stable to me. It didn't get loose in the transition which I thought would be another issue.

I still like the MMT better though.

Irons:
King Tours: they did alright. I think I have these in the build your cobra bag setup currently.

Darkspeed: I really liked the finished and looking down at the club. However, spin is on the low side.

Forged Tec / Tec X : spin was better with the regular but dispersion was obviously better with the X.
